What IVF in Mexico involves
IVF is a multi-step process carried out over several weeks. In broad terms, clinics record these stages: an initial fertility work-up and consultation, ovarian stimulation with monitoring, egg retrieval, fertilization in the laboratory (often with ICSI), embryo culture, and embryo transfer. Some patients add genetic testing of embryos (PGT) or choose to freeze eggs or embryos for later.
This directory records the treatments each clinic lists. It does not recommend a treatment or a protocol. Those decisions belong to a patient and their treating physician.

Prices are self-published by each clinic and cover different things. Some include medication, some do not, and figures change over time. Success rates are not comparable across clinics. Confirm the current price and what it includes directly with the clinic.
How to choose a clinic
A few things in each listing are worth checking: which treatments a clinic publishes, whether it lists prices and what those prices include, the medical team, registry status, the languages spoken, and the location. How each entry is compiled and checked is described in our methodology.
Success rates are not comparable across clinics. Clinics measure and report outcomes in different ways, and their patient groups differ, so a headline percentage from one clinic cannot be set against another. For that reason this directory does not publish per-clinic success rates.
Where clinics are concentrated
Fertility clinics cluster in a few areas. Tijuana draws patients from across the border in California. Cancún pairs treatment with travel on the Caribbean coast. How fertility care is regulated
Assisted reproduction in Mexico is provided by private clinics and hospitals. COFEPRIS, the federal health regulator, authorizes facilities that handle human tissue. Some clinics also hold accreditation from REDLARA, the Latin American Network of Assisted Reproduction, which runs a voluntary accreditation program for member centers.
