Sources and registries
Every clinic and every fact in this directory traces back to a public source. These are the four we use, and how each one is applied.
| Source | What it provides | Read |
|---|---|---|
| Google Maps business listings Public listings for fertility and reproductive-medicine practices in Mexico. | Clinic name, city, address, phone number, website and the public Google rating. This is the base list of clinics. | 2026-07-19 |
| REDLARA (redlara.com) Red Latinoamericana de Reproducción Asistida, Mexico center list. | Accreditation overlay. 48 Mexican centers listed; REDLARA reports a membership status (afiliado, acreditado, postulante), which is what the badge reflects. | 2026-07-18 |
| COFEPRIS (gob.mx (COFEPRIS)) Authorised assisted-reproduction establishments (SEASS_RA). | Accreditation overlay. 130 establishments. Published 2019-02-18: this is a dated historical list, used as an overlay only, not proof of current authorization. | 2026-07-18 |
| Clinic websites Each clinic's own site. | Treatments offered, published prices, financing, doctors and languages. Every such fact links to the exact page on each clinic profile, with the date it was read. | per profile |
Why COFEPRIS is dated
The only COFEPRIS list of authorized assisted-reproduction establishments that is public is a PDF whose internal creation date is February 2019. The current COFEPRIS portal, DIGIPRIS, is login-gated and exposes no public directory of authorized establishments. Rather than drop the data, we keep it as a historical overlay and label it plainly. A COFEPRIS badge means a clinic appeared on that 2019 list, not that its authorization is current. Confirm status directly with the clinic or the authority.
How sources appear on the site
On each clinic profile, prices, doctors and financing carry a small source note with a link to the page they came from and the date it was read. The base listing details come from Google Maps as above. Across 477 clinics, the aim is that nothing appears without a link you can follow.
The method behind this is on the methodology page. Who runs the directory is on the about page.
